PRLog (Press Release) automobile news – May 06, 2011 – For this year, the new LaCrosse comes with a new four-cylinder engine that is standard on CX and CXL trims. The new four-cylinder engine offers a combination of adequate power goverment technology and improved fuel economy.
Under the hood, the 2011 LaCross is available with either a four – or six-cylinder engine. A 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine delivers 182-horsepower and is available on the front-wheel drive CX and CXL models. Also available is a larger 280-horsepower, 3.6-liter V6 engine that is equipped under the hood of all CXL models with all-wheel drive and front-wheel drive CXS editions. A six-speed first drive audi a6 automatic is the only available transmission offered.
Front seats of the LaCrosse offer more bolstering than the bench-like chairs in previous Buick products. Reviewers are quite impressed.
Interior features of the spacious LaCrosse come with easy-to-use electronics including a unique radio recording system that allows the driver to pause and play back radio content.
The Bluetooth feature is optional on the base CX model and standard on the CXL and CXS trims. Naviga bmw M5 specification tion is not available on the base trim.
Although the 2011 LaCrosse has not been crash-tested yet by the federal government, the 2010 LaCrosse model did received the highest-possible score, five stars, in both frontal- and side-impact crash tests by them! The 2011 LaCrosse offers similar safety features from the 2010 model so it should expect to receive similar crash-test scores.
Standard safety features for the all new 2011 LaCrosse come with front-, front-side and side head-curtain airbags. Rear-seat airbags are optional. Stability and traction control are also standard. A one-year subscription to GM's OnStar system is included. The LaCrosses uses four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes.
